Business Profile

Business Profile (also commonly known as Company Profile) is an extract from ACRA containing your company’s important information such as registration number (UEN), date of incorporation, financial year end, last date of holding of AGM, names of directors and shareholders and the issued and paid up capital of the company.

Uses of a Business Profile

Usually, your creditors or bankers will want a copy of your business profile or they can download the same from ACRA. This is to check your paid up capital and to see if your company is sufficiently capitalized. Other times, Business Profile would be certified and used overseas. In such case, the Business Profile would be notarised, legalised and authenticated by the foreign embassy of the country which you intend to send it to for use.

How to Buy a Business Profile on ACRA

You have to pay a small fee of $5.50 to buy a business profile. To purchase:

1. Go to bizfile.gov.sg.
2. Login with your SingPass or CorpPass.
3. Go to Buy Information -> Business Profile -> Buy Now.

Upon successful payment, you will receive an email within 15 minutes, with a link to download the purchased profile. The link will expire after 7 days from the date of purchase. Alternatively, the profile is also available under the “Messages” section after BizFile+ login.
